Zuppa Toscana

Zuppa Toscana

Bossingly Bossing Zuppa Toscana (6 servings)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage (mild or spicy, casing removed)

  • 4 slices bacon, chopped

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 3–4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 4 medium russet potatoes, thinly sliced (skin on or peeled)

  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 2 cups water

  • 2 cups kale, stems removed and leaves chopped

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 2–3 tsp Bossingly Bossing All-Purpose Seasoning (instead of plain salt & pepper)

  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)

  • Grated Parmesan, for topping

Instructions

  1. Cook the meats

    • In a large pot, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.

    • Add sausage and cook until browned, breaking into crumbles.

  2. Sauté aromatics

    • Stir in onion and cook until soft (about 5 min).

    • Add garlic and 1 tsp Bossingly Bossing seasoning, cook 1 minute to bloom the flavor.

  3. Build the soup

    • Pour in chicken broth and water.

    • Add potatoes + 1 tsp more Bossingly Bossing seasoning.

    • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 15–20 minutes until potatoes are tender.

  4. Finish it off

    • Stir in cream, kale, bacon, and the last tsp of Bossingly Bossing seasoning.

    • Simmer 5 minutes, taste, and adjust seasoning as needed.

  5. Serve

    • Ladle into bowls, sprinkle with Parmesan, and enjoy with crusty bread or garlic bread.

👉 The Bossingly Bossing seasoning replaces the need for plain salt, pepper, and even Italian seasoning, giving it a deeper, all-in-one flavor profile.
