Zuppa Toscana
Bossingly Bossing Zuppa Toscana (6 servings)
Ingredients

1 lb Italian sausage (mild or spicy, casing removed)

4 slices bacon, chopped

1 medium onion, diced

3–4 garlic cloves, minced

4 medium russet potatoes, thinly sliced (skin on or peeled)

4 cups chicken broth
-
2 cups water
-
2 cups kale, stems removed and leaves chopped

1 cup heavy cream
-
2–3 tsp Bossingly Bossing All-Purpose Seasoning (instead of plain salt & pepper)

¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)

Grated Parmesan, for topping
Instructions

Cook the meats
-
In a large pot, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.

Add sausage and cook until browned, breaking into crumbles.

Sauté aromatics

Stir in onion and cook until soft (about 5 min).

Add garlic and 1 tsp Bossingly Bossing seasoning, cook 1 minute to bloom the flavor.

Build the soup

Pour in chicken broth and water.

Add potatoes + 1 tsp more Bossingly Bossing seasoning.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 15–20 minutes until potatoes are tender.

Finish it off

Stir in cream, kale, bacon, and the last tsp of Bossingly Bossing seasoning.

Simmer 5 minutes, taste, and adjust seasoning as needed.

Ladle into bowls, sprinkle with Parmesan, and enjoy with crusty bread or garlic bread.
